Chris Cant’s Update

I can’t believe it is nearly three months since being appointed to the White Cross Mission Community.  I feel I have hardly begun to get to know my way around, let alone know you all and the multitude of things going on in the seven churches and their communities.  There are some churches I’ve only been to twice in all that time!

One project which will help me enormously is compiling an address list of all those associated with the seven churches.  It will be good to have a little booklet with phone numbers and email addresses.  Postcodes are useful too, particularly when trying to find a house when all you have is its name!

One thing is for sure I’ve really enjoyed visiting some of you already and hope to be able to do more.  As a rule I commit Thursdays and Fridays to the Mission Community and that includes preparation time for Sundays.  I know as time goes by I’ll get busier so now is the time to get on my bike (at least when it isn’t raining) and find you.
